Voor ons heugelijke jubileum in 2023 heeft Ruigoord een Comité van Aanbeveling van meer honderd mensen samengesteld. Het comité bestaat uit personen met een vooraanstaande positie in de wereld van de kunsten, de cultuursector, de wetenschap, het bedrijfsleven en de politiek. Zij hebben hun naam willen lenen aan ons streven om ook de komende 50 jaar te kunnen blijven bestaan en kunnen desgevraagd ook praktische hulp geven.
Voor dit comité hebben wij op 15 Oktober een diner in de kerk georganiseerd, verzorgd door Ruigoorders. De avond was een waar succes. Tijdens een volledig vegan 3 gangen diner werd er goed geconverseerd over alle mogelijkheden die er voor ons Ruigoord in het verschiet liggen. Aan elke tafel werden er gesprekken gevoerd rondom een van onze verschillende jubileum projecten, deze gesprekken werden geleid door Ruigoordse “Hosts”. Vanaf de kansel spraken jonge en oude Ruigoorders over hun verleden, toekomst en ambities in relatie tot Ruigoord.
Op poëtische en muzikale wijze werd deze avond afgesloten bij een vreugdevuur buiten.
